Zayn Malik reveals why he left 1D

It's been 8 years since Zayn decided to part ways with one of the biggest boybands of all time.

Zayn was the first member of the band to leave saying ''I'm competitive, so wanted to be the first to go and do my own thing,"

He also revealed in a recent interview  "Certain people were doing certain things, certain people didn't want to sign contracts, so I knew something was happening, so I just got ahead of the curve. I was like, ‘I'm just going to get out of here. I think this is done.''
